The development team, which includes HITMAN designers and one of the creators of PAYDAY, presents Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden - an adventure tactical game in which turn-based battles in the XCOM style are combined with the need to hide and explore a world where there are no people, but there is nature. .. and mutants. The end of the world, of course, has come. It was only a matter of time. Irreversible climate change, the global economic crisis, an epidemic that has claimed the lives of many people ... and a growing conflict between old and new superpowers. And then nuclear weapons went into battle, for the first time since 1945, and flashes of nuclear explosions lit up every corner of the Earth. Now the war is over, and the planet has subsided. In ruined cities, nature reigns. On the streets that turned into cemeteries, only the wind walks. There are no more people here. Mutants roam the remains of civilization in search of salvation (or at least food) - either humans or animals mutilated beyond recognition. To survive, you and your comrades will have to leave their shelter and go to the Zone. Perhaps you will be able to find the legendary Eden - an ancient haven hidden in the midst of hell reigning around. There, according to legend, you can find answers to all questions. Although, perhaps, all this is complete nonsense.

TACTICAL FIGHT. Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is what you need to satisfy your passion for turn-based strategies. Enjoy challenging turn-based battles in the spirit of the XCOM series.
WORLD WITHOUT PEOPLE. In cities, not a soul, the roads are falling apart, and in the countryside everything is overgrown with grass. Returning from the Zone, do not forget to drop into the "Ark" - a dubious institution, something like a nightclub where you can replenish supplies and think about your next outing.
MUTANT TEAM. A duck with high self-conceit and unable to restrain the anger of a boar is clearly not like the characters you are used to. Dax, Bormin, Selma and other characters with whom you will meet, have a unique character and extravagant outlook on the world and their lives.
SECURITY. To avoid skirmishes or to take enemies by surprise, you need stealth. It is these skills that will give you the opportunity to decide exactly how you want to start the battle: your mutants will be able to quietly get into the enemy camp, take the most advantageous positions, and then suddenly attack.
NEW MUTATIONS. Your mutants may discover new mutations and abilities. So, Selma learns to put on a stone-hard skin, Bormin - attack enemies from the start, and Dax - quietly penetrate the enemy camp. So what if it's a talking duck almost 1.5 meters tall and with a crossbow behind it?
DYNAMIC WORLD. Around you there will always be landscape elements that may come in handy. Avoid the spotlights and hide from the eyes of opponents. Or maybe you will begin to level the walls and buildings with the ground and destroy everything you see?
IT IS NOT LOT OF EQUIPMENT. To cope with the dangers that await you at every turn, your mutants will need equipment - from cylinder hats and homemade slings to unloading vests and high-powered rifles. Imagine an angry boar mutant rushing at you in ****l armor with spikes and a musketon at the ready - you can immediately see the posthuman era, right?
